U.S. Senate DFL candidate Erik Osberg was joined by Fergus Falls local DFL candidate Ben Schierer and others to address upcoming election goals.
Erik Osberg, a DFL candidate running for the U.S. House seat in the the Seventh Congressional District against Republican Michelle Fischbach, cited his top priority as defending the constitution and getting corporate money out of politics. Recruiting more workforce to Otter Tail County, agriculture and getting funding restored for public education were among his priorities shared at a forum held at the Bigwood Event Center in Fergus Falls on April 10.
The meeting with Osberg featured former DFL member of the Minnesota State Senate, Dan Skogen, and state auditor candidate and former Fergus Falls mayor and city council member Ben Schierer.
Osberg, currently the Rural Rebound Initiative coordinator with Otter Tail County, highlighted his background in working with farmers in the private sector through his work with Edward Jones Investments as a financial advisor, and for Wadenda State Bank and Farm Bureau Financial Services.
