WADENA — Democrat Erik Osberg announced his bid for Congress in Minnesota’s 7th District on Tuesday, March 11, at a launch event held at the historic Wadena Depot. The event attracted a group of local supporters and community members to hear Osberg’s vision for the future of rural Minnesota.
“My pledge is to spend the next 602 days trying to meet you where you’re at. This campaign is built upon actions and not words,” Osberg said during his campaign launch speech.
Osberg, who currently works as the Rural Rebound Initiative coordinator for Otter Tail County, told the crowd he is determined to bring “real change” to Washington, D.C., and amplify the voices of rural Minnesotans.
