Memorial Day has come & gone. We paused yesterday to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our Nation. We are forever in their debt.
I was fortunate to spend the weekend at the Tiny Cabin. If you are a long-time subscriber, I’ve mentioned this spot before. A small place in the woods overlooking a small lake. It is where I go to disconnect. I struggled to unwind this visit. While I was able to get in some fishing, time with family, cutting/splitting wood and sitting around a campfire, my mind was pre-occupied. Finding balance is becoming more challenging as the campaign becomes more demanding. I’m doing my best to ensure our team is in position to finish strong. Growth isn’t linear. Sometimes it can feel like we’ve taken 1 step forward & 2 steps back. I’ve been at this for 441 days & there are only 160 left before the midterms. The state DFL Convention is next weekend and we are looking forward to heading into summer with new staff, more volunteers & a calendar full of opportunities to connect with voters in all 38 counties in Minnesota’s 7th Congressional District. We hope you can join us.

We have well over 500 volunteers already signed up, and we are gonna need more. In an effort to organize our volunteers, we hosted a virtual volunteer summit last week. Host a House Party
House parties are a great way to organize in your local community and help to raise funds and recruit volunteers in a comfortable setting. You can either invite neighbors, family, and friends or ask us to invite local supporters and friends-to-be. MN DFL State Convention
The 2026 Minnesota DFL State Convention will be held in Rochester, MN, at the Mayo Civic Center. The three-day convention will convene from Friday, May 29, through Sunday, May 31, 2026. If you plan to attend, please wear your purple t-shirt when Erik is scheduled to speak on Saturday. If the schedule changes, we’ll let you know.
